Good evening My FellowBlog Readers,
I pray that this blog finds you all well and full of good cheer if not as always you all will be in my prayers.
Ok where to start? I guess I will start from the two days I was schedule to go back to work from my Christmas break. I have a GMC car that I absolutely adore. It is not a new car by any means but I like it. So, I was driving to the Walmart to send an item back to customer service and I notice a little play kitchen sitting on the side walk next to a storage unit. I was excited. I thought to myself if it is still there when I leave customer service, I am going to get that bad boy. I know my granddaughter and how much she would love to have a play kitchen when she visits. My grandbaby loves to pretend cooking so maybe she will be a gourmet chef hmmm gonna keep my eye on that progress. Anyway, I digress. I could not put the play kitchen in my truck by myself so I called my son he came and start to dismantle it. When he shows up, I walk around to my passenger side towards the back and I saw where something yellow was marked up and down my car like scratches all on the back end of the bumper. I freaked out ROYALLY!!!
My son was like, “mom calm down” ugh don’t tell me to calm down look at my s###! So, we put the parts of the kitchen into my trunk and I am still fuming. Seriously no note nothing. Ok it took me a couple of days to stop being angry. It was now time to get ready to go back to work. I am driving on the freeway it was very, very windy. I’m listening to my gospel music and I heard a loud bang. I mean it was hard as s###. It was in maybe 10 seconds I saw my passenger window started to just crumble blowing glass everywhere. I hurry get off the freeway. I drove to HEB at 7:00 am in the morning bought some huge trash bags duct tape, tried to call my boss, tried to call my assistant to no avail. I wrapped it. I taped it. I went to work.
Two days later got window fixed thanks to a beautiful sweet friend. A day later I got hit in the eye with a jump rope. It stung I thought nothing of it. The next day I could not see out of that eye. It just kept on watering up. It was also red. I go to work and the pain is getting unbearable. My eye feels like it weighs a ton. I finish work and go to a quick care. It was there I found out that I had rips in my cornea. So could not go to work the next. Wow what the f###!.
I no longer have these issues. I am grateful for that. I sit back and just think this has been a hard and bad week for me. I then started to think of the good that came out of this mess. I got a chance to see my daughter. I got a chance to spend time with my granddaughter on her birthday. The window by the grace of God did not cost me anything. Why did this happen to me? I don’t know. Sometimes s### happens. I just tried to focus on the good instead of the bad. Let this be a lesson my fellowblog readers. Sometimes you just have to make the best or look at the good that is going on in your life instead of the bad.
